City Gardens and Parks

Hello You!!!!

If you like flowers, trees and plant these are the places to visit. In the next posts i will show you a little more about them.

If you are going to stay for a few days in your walks around the city you will certainly have the change to rest in many of the city gardens like in Cordoaria near the Clerigos tower and in the olive garden also next to the tower.

 Cordoaria
Garden of the olives.

But what i recommend you is to visit this four ones: Crystal Palace Gardens, Botanical, Garden, Serralves and the west city park. You can take a day to visit them all or do two by two if yout think is too much.

Starting at the crystal palace you can walk to the botanical garden, just 21 min. Both are free to enter.

To go to Serralves is best if you go by car or bus. But if wish you can walk.....24 min

My advice is to return to Avenida of Boavista and catch a bus or a taxi . The bus number is 203 that stops in front of Serralves. You have to pay to enter Serralves.

Then you can catch the bus again at the same stop and go to Castelo do Queijo where you can enter the West City Park by the sea end. Or once more you can return to Avenida da Boavista by foot and go down towards the sea.  19 minutes walk

.

These are for me the main four parks but you also have:

- Passeio dos Alegres - just near the Foz

-Porto East park

- Parque de São Roque  - near the FC PORTO stadium

Andy many others, but the four ones are the best to see ....

SEE YOU!!!
